Summer Farewell for The Fishwives: A look back.
Friday August 14, 2009. Mitzi's Sister at 11PM. Mark it down in your journals, kiddies, because this was the day The Fishwives played their best ever gig in their young musical career. Not only did they play almost their entire catalogue of hits, they jazzed up a few of their classics in a supreme effort to give the fans what they want. Rum & Band-Aids; excellent. The Girl, part 2; phenomenal. Cover of Lovebug by The Jonas Brothers; exquisite. Kudos to Atty, Caleb, James and Brandon for their amazing work in a final summer farewell. As The Fishwives end their summer stint, so does this blogger's journey with the band. Come back in the late Spring, when The Fishwives form up again. Also look for updates, like possible Rockband Network tracks from the Fishwives, which would be playable on most rock band merchandise (idea still pending). Also look out for the band's EP, which will most likely come out during next summer. Until then; peace, love and rock 'n' roll.
